PIRATES' monthly events, renowned media mixers, and joint events with other community organizations are designed to give members the tools and contacts they need to succeed. Each meeting takes place the second Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted. Time and location varies.

We need volunteers to help us make our organization successful. Could you please help out?

PR SPEED DATING
PIRATES October 10, 2012 Meeting
 
Tired of the old tactics? Got a PR problem? Need insight on your communications strategy? Want to float your new idea? PIRATES PR Speed Dating will provide you with a few minutes of top-line recommendations from communications professionals. Come with your most challenging questions!
 
You and three or four participants will meet with a PR consultant during a session. You’ll get an opportunity to participate in a total of three speed dates with different PR consultants each time so be prepared because time is limited. Focus on one event, one question, one visual. Then, sit back, listen, and consider the feedback.

This session will give you the information you need to develop the best way to make use of your media time to tell your story! No need for nerves, if you know what you need to do, it’s easy!Our speakers are Vivian Porter and Genevieve Riutort. In their respective careers Vivian has hosted hundreds of guests on radio and Genevieve has been a guest many, many times as well.
